Introducing Alesta® RAL HAA Powder Coatings. DuPont™ Alesta® RAL products have been formulated using a high gloss hydroxyalkylamide (HAA), polyester chemistry for indoor and outdoor use. Throughout the  balance of 2012, DuPont Powder Coatings will be converting its RAL formulations from the standard TGIC-polyester chemistry to HAA polyester (TGIC-free). DuPont Powder has over 20 years of experience in formulating HAAs and believes that the trent in North America will reflect a transition from TGIC-polyesters to HAA polyesters (TGIC-free) for two reasons: 1. Global companies' desire to standardize to one chemistry, and 2. Responsible Care issues with regard to special labeling requirements and/or special warnings required for TGIC-containing polyesters. DuPont™ Abcite® thermoplastic powders have been specifically forumlated as a tough, chip-resistant finish providing excellent corrosion and UV protection without the need for a primer. The encapsulating finish makes the part highly resistant to permeation by liquids, giving Abcite excellent resistance to chemical attack by both acids and alkalis. These thermoplastic powders can be electrostatically applied or fluid bed dipped. A few ideal end-use applications include: park and playground equipment; fence panels; balustrades and railings; light poles; and battery trays.

DuPont™ Alesta® AM powders are patented (Patents US6093407(A), US643241(B1)) and treated with a silver ionic technology that is known to inhibit the growth of microbes on powder coated surfaces. Mighty Hook Snap-On Mini Load Bars are designed to increase line density on existing conveyor lines with minimal labor and cost.  They are made of .250” steel, and incorporate stainless spring steel retaining clips for durability. Available in sizes to fit most standard conveyor spacing, they snap onto pendants without having to remove the pins on each pendant, saving labor. A multi-layered, multi-depth die cut featuring a repulpable pressure sensitive adhesive with a paper center, supplied on a silicone release liner. It is intended to allow an operator to patch a tear or hole in a web of paper as it is being manufactured, without stopping the process,or creating a much larger web break. The repulpable pressure sensitive adhesive is used to secure the patch to a moving web of paper, over a tear or hole during the paper making process. The paper center provides integrity to the construction while preventing the adhesive from transferring through the defect and sticking to the layer below it. Once the patch is placed on the web, the operator may also elect to flag that spot in the roll. This will alert anyone in an off line process that a patch is in place, and that section should be culled out, scrapped, and repulped. This concept might also have application in areas where water soluble masks or patches might be used, perhaps in wave soldering, conformal coating, or painting applications. NEW Product!
